As well as ordering online (see below), we can accept requests for repeat prescriptions in writing, submitted by hand, post or fax. Sorry, but we cannot accept telephone requests.
You can order repeat prescriptions online via the link at the top of this page. Please contact reception for a username and password.
Please allow 48 hours for your request to be processed, taking into account weekends and bank holidays. Where possible, please use the repeat slip attached to your prescription for further requests as this contains all the information the pharmacist requires.
If you are requesting a prescription that is different to your repeat sheet please let us know who changed or added this to your list, i.e. hospital, clinic. We will need to obtain confirmation before we can issue a prescription therefore you will need to allow at least 72 hours before collection.
If you are going on holiday and need extra medication to cover the period, please write this on your request as we cannot give extra medication without a written reason.
If you are ordering Warfarin please bring your yellow clinic book to reception so that we can update your latest records.
For patients who cannot get to the surgery, or who prefer not to come to the surgery to collect and/or request their repeat medication, there are options for you to get your prescription either delivered to your home - usually housebound patients only - or you can collect from one of the local pharmacies or one nearer to your place of work or of your choice. If you would like to find out more about these services please either come to the surgery and ask at reception or speak to your pharmacist. A list of local pharmacies can be found here.
Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip.
Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
