Self-Referrals

At the Greyswood Practice we believe in empowering patients to take control of their own health. That’s why we’ve created a self-referral page, where you can find a list of local services which you can access directly.

What is self-referral?

Self-referral allows you to access specialised care directly, without the need for a referral from your GP. Whether you’re seeking physiotherapy, mental health support, or maternity services, you can take the initiative to schedule an appointment yourself. By offering self-referral pathways, we aim to streamline the process and ensure that you receive the care you need in a timely manner.

  • anaesthetic spray (although there’s little proof they help when used on their own)

You can buy these treatments from a supermarket or pharmacy without a prescription.

A pharmacist can also provide other treatments if you need them, without you seeing a GP, under the Pharmacy First scheme.
